The Bluewing Mountains have no established trails. The entire region is open for skilled explorers to enjoy on foot or horseback.   The range is not marked by any steep topography, making exploration easy. Rounded hills dominate the range making hiking accessible to a variety of users. The wide openness of the range makes for easy route finding. Solitude may be discovered along the ridges and in the many canyons and hidden washes. A beautiful area of desert pavement on the southeast part of the range provide very fun and easy hiking. As in all of Nevada's high deserts, be prepared for extreme cold or extreme heat depending on the season.  Self reliance is the most important factor for exploring remote, empty regions like the Bluewing Mountains.
