Volunteer

One day of volunteering can make a difference that lasts a lifetime!

🏔♻️👷👷‍♀️

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Friends of Nevada Wilderness. Together we can keep our public lands and wilderness areas maintained and clean! Volunteers get to work on the ground with others to heal and protect our wild places. These trips are fun, rewarding, and can be a great way to meet new Friends. We have volunteer opportunities for every skill level, ranging from getting out on the ground and pulling fence, picking up trash, naturalizing old roads, planting seedlings, monitoring wilderness, and yanking invasive plants to helping out with outreach events in our community!

All volunteers are welcome.

Don't take it from us, our volunteers have a lot to say!

You’ll experience being part of a group who is preserving our wild heritage, meeting new people who share your desire to help, while working outdoors in Nevada’s most beautiful scenery.

I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend volunteering with FNW. I loved being able to protect Nevada’s wildlife while spending a couple nights camping in the Santa Rosa’s. Not to mention the delicious food and lovely people! I can’t wait for the next trip!
