Friends of Nevada Wilderness values your privacy.

 

Email Addresses

We collect email addresses of those who subscribe for more information, monthly e-news publications, action alerts, wilderness stewardship opportunities, and volunteer correspondence. Friends of Nevada Wilderness never sells, rents, or lends email addresses of users to anyone.

Users can remove their names from our email list at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the bottom of each email message.

Postal Mailing Lists

Friends of Nevada Wilderness never sells, rents, or lends postal mailing addresses to anyone. We send out limited mailings throughout the year, including our bi-annual newsletter.  Please contact us if you wish to opt out of paper mailings.

Advertising

Friends of Nevada Wilderness does not use third-party advertising on its website. However, we do promote our corporate partners by including links to their websites and information about them on our website. Friends of Nevada Wilderness is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites.

Security of Financial Information

Friends of Nevada Wilderness utilizes financial information (usually credit card numbers) only to bill for membership, merchandise or other products selected by you. We do not keep any financial information on site, and do not store financial information for one time donations. Financial information for recurring donations is stored in an encrypted database by our payment processors.

The Friends of Nevada Wilderness website and database have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. At www.nevadawilderness.org your personal information and credit card number are encrypted by SSL (Secure Socket Layers), and your information is stored in an encrypted database.
