Camping
Overnight backpacking opportunities abound in the Wilderness, limited only by the skill of the hiker and the amount of water one can carry. Primitive car camping is available along the designated vehicle routes leading to the Wilderness boundary. The network of designated routes just north of the Wilderness offer the best diversity and opportunities for primitive car camping.
Getting There
Arrow Canyon Wilderness lies 40 miles north of Las Vegas and can be accessed from State Highway 168 or US 93. A high clearance will provide much greater access to the Wilderness over the network of designated dirt routes surrounding the Wilderness. Make sure your vehicle is in top condition, that you have a good spare tire, emergency equipment, and plenty of water.
