Two U.S. Forest Service developed campgrounds provide vehicle camping possibilities just outside the perimeter of of Arc Dome Wilderness: Peavine Campground along the souther edge, and Columbine Campground near the Stewart Creek Trailhead. Additional dispersed camping on public lands adjacent to the mouths of North and South twin Rivers are available to people accustomed to “roughing it.” Of course, the best way to experience multiday stays in Arc Dome is to backpack or use livestock packing to accesses camping opportunities within the Wilderness.
