Due to the proximity of Mount Charlston to Las Vegas, the campgrounds in the areas are heavily used. Most of the Wilderness trails can be explored in day trips and are easily reached by an hour's drive from Las Vegas. Lodging options in Las Vegas are virtually unlimited.Numerous commercial campgrounds with full hook-ups can be found in the Las Vegas area.
