Jarbidge River Trail (#105)
This trail climbs steeply from 6600 feet at the trailhead in the Pine Creek Campground over a distance of 6.7 to Jarbidge Lake at an elevation of 9350 feet. From Jarbidge Lake, the backcountry traveler has the option to connect (via the short trail #193) to the Cougar Creek Trail (#006) and the East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020), or use the Camp Draw Trail (#019) to access the Camp Draw Trailhead or make a connection with the Mary’s River Trail (#018).

Camp Draw Trail (#019)
This trail 6 mile trail climbs steeply from 7641 feet at the trailhead in the Camp Draw over a low pass of 8370 feet then drops down into the West Mary’s River at 7434 feet. About 3.6 miles in, From here the trail follows this drainage up to an option to connect with the Mary’s River Trail (#018) at about 3.6 miles or to continue up to Jarbidge Lake at an elevation of 9350 feet. From Jarbidge Lake, the backcountry traveler has the option to connect (via the short trail #193) to the Cougar Creek Trail (#006) and the East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020), or connect through with Jarbidge River Trail (#105).

The East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020)
zThe East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020) can be accessed from either the Three Day Creek Trailhead (#021) or the Slide Creek Trailhead (#029). The East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020) provides access to the wild northern portion of the Wilderness, allowing for connections to Emerald Lake and Jarbidge Lake via the Cougar Creek Trail (#006), or with the Humming Bird Springs Trial (#099) and the Camp Creek Trail (#198). This East Fork trail also allows for a connection with the Mary’s River Trail (#018) via the Mary’s Basin Connector (#195).

The Humming Bird Springs Trail (#099)
This high elevation trail starts a 9200 feet, rises and falls, and winds around the Gods Pocket Peak and Divide Peak. The trail reaches a high point of 9360 feet just south to Divide Peak at 7.9 miles from the trailhead. From here the trail descends rapidly, losing 1250 feet in 1.5 miles to the Right Fork of Camp Creek and climbs again to reach the a junction with Camp Creek Trail (#198), the East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020), and the Mary’s Basin Connector (#195) at 11.3 miles from the trailhead.

The Mary’s River Trail
This trail provides access to the remote southern portion of the Wilderness. The trailhead starts at 6400 feet in the difficult to reach Chalk Basin. The trail follows the Mary’s River and climbs 6800 feet in the first 4.4 miles to reach a junction with the Mary’s Basin Connector (#195), which provides access to East Fork of the Jarbidge River Trail (#020) and the Humming Bird Springs Trail (#099). The Mary’s River Trail continues north, leaving The Mary’s River about 6.5 miles from the trailhead at an elevation of 7200 feet. From here the trail climbs steeply 1000 feet to a draw to circumvent a small basin and then crossover a 8400-foot saddle. From here the trail drops down to intersect with Camp Draw Trail (#019) at an elevation of 8000 feet at a distance of about 9.5 miles from the Mary’s River Trail Trailhead. From this point Jarbidge Lake can be accessed via the Camp Draw Trail (#019) and the Jarbidge River Trail (#105) can be accessed directly in about 2.5 miles by climbing up and over a 8800 foot pass via the Norman Mines connector (#192).
