Last winter we spent a day restoring a decommissioned route on the edge of Eldorado Wilderness. Join us this March for another day spent helping this route recover! We'll break up soil that has been compacted by motor vehicles and extend a post-and-cable barrier. Paralleling the west side of the Colorado River, the rugged Eldorado Wilderness area is an intricate web of peaks, gentle slopes of lava flows and eroded basalt, and side canyons with craggy cliffs.
What You'll Need: Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long shirt. Bring a lunch, snacks, and water bottle for yourself. We'll have plenty of water for refills.
