It All Begins in the Nest
Join Friends for our March Wild Speaker Series: "It All Begins in the Nest" on Thursday, May 4th at 7PM!
We will be joined by naturalist David Lukas, who will be giving the fourth talk of a four-part series about bird biology!
David Lukas will introduce us to bird nests and eggs. This might be the most important time of the year for birds, yet so much of this exuberant activity remains hidden from view. Consider this our peek into the tender moments and care that go into making carefully crafted nests and rearing eggs that turn into the hungry chicks and feisty nestlings you’ll be noticing all spring.
We will wrap up the evening with a Q&A to answer all your questions! This will be an informative chat for the whole family!
This talk will be on May 4, 2023 at 7PM on Zoom! Please register at the link if you would like to attend: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwtduGsrz8rE9MijY2zytDeOv69Rcs4UNcl
Every first Thursday of the month at 7pm, Friends of Nevada Wilderness hosts a local environmental expert for folks who are interested in the outdoors to learn more about hikes, local habitat, and ways to get involved with conservation efforts.
