Wild Speaker Series: Wild Journalism

Wild Journalism

Join Friends for our March Wild Speaker Series: "Wild Journalism" on a Zoom call!

Join us for April Wild Speaker Series: Wild Journalism

How is Wild Nevada portrayed in our local media? How do we encourage our communities to be passionate about our public lands and environmental issues? We will be joined by Nevada Independent reporter Daniel Rothberg as he discusses his approach to covering environmental issues in our state - including some of his most riveting findings and favorite stories.

Daniel is located in northern Nevada so we will be holding this Wild Speaker Series in an online Zoom meeting. Please make sure to register in advance at the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0qfuGupjIpG93-nB3ze8kFIbYpP6yBjooZ

We will be giving away a free REI flash pack to one lucky attendee that night! Make sure to tune in for a chance to win!

We'll wrap up with a Q&A session to answer all your questions!  This will be an informative chat for the whole family!

Every first Thursday of the month at 7pm, Friends of Nevada Wilderness hosts a local environmental expert for folks who are interested in the outdoors to learn more about hikes, local habitat, and ways to get involved with conservation efforts.
