Reid Wolcott is a Meteorologist for the National Weather Service. He gave a talk last year about Thunderstorms and Monsoons last summer, it was very interesting! He's back to go over the basics of meteorology - layers of the atmosphere, atmospheric pressure, fronts, jet stream, that kind of thing. He's a great resource so come with your weather related questions!

Friends of Nevada Wilderness is hosting a monthly meeting the first Thursday of every month and we're calling it our Wild Speaker Series!
