Meet at the Hunter Creek Trailhead (map). From the trailhead, we will hike 1-3 miles into the Mt.Rose Wilderness. 

Mt. Rose Wilderness is a beautiful piece of nature right on the edge of Reno! Make a difference this spring and join us by removing invasive plants. Invasive plants upset the delicate balance of nature by outcompeting native plants, reducing wildlife habitat, degrading water quality, and increasing fire danger. This project is a fun and rewarding way to make a difference while spending the morning in a beautiful place! 

Please wear long pants, a face mask, long-sleeves, and closed-toed shoes. Bring at least 2 liters of water (1 liter = approx. 2 typical size water bottles), sunscreen, and a lunch/snacks.
