Join Friends and Outside Las Vegas Foundation for the Grand Opening of the U.S. Forest Service's Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway! This once in a lifetime event will open the new center, celebrate Nuwuvi traditions and ancestral heritage in the Spring Mountains, and be a memorial to veterans killed during the cold war period.
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, parking, medical and media support, a youth art project, and more. Volunteers must arrive at the Visitor Gateways at 7:30 am for orientation, stay until 3:30 pm, and be at least 16 years old. You will receive commemorative water bottles and certificates of thanks from Senators Reid and Heller for helping with this grand event.
