Sip and Hike!
Join us for a coffee and guided hike at Tahoe Meadows! Coffeebar will be providing their trailhead blend coffee 15 minutes before we set off for a beautiful guided hike through the Tahoe Meadows from our Forest Ambassador Paige!
Paige, the Forest Service Ambassador will be leading us on a 4.5 mile hike starting at the Tahoe Meadows Trailhead after enjoying some tasty coffee. We will be covering history of the land, flora and fauna, and Leave No Trace practices! If you would like to sign up please visit the Coffeebar website or follow the link below. Information:
Difficulty: Moderate - See our difficulty rating scale here. This 4.5 mile hike is rated moderate on all trails, and is relatively flat with 600ft elevation gain. Please be aware that this hike does start at 8,700ft above sea level, which may make it more difficult.
Location: Tahoe Meadows Trailhead (parking lot with bathrooms)
Dates: Saturday, September 20th, 9am - 12pm
Gear/Clothing: Please wear appropriate footwear, either hiking boots or tennis shoes. We are expecting fall weather so please bring a sweater or jacket. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Dogs: Well behaved dogs are more than welcome, but we do ask that they remain on a leash for the entire hike!
