Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness as we pitch in with GO Mt Charleston to clean up Kyle and Lee Canyons for the 7th annual Spring Cleaning event.
Mt Charleston sees many visitors during Winter. Unfortunately, things get left behind when those visitors go home. In the Spring, after the snow melts, we like to spend some time cleaning up one of our favorite outdoor recreation places.
Volunteers will spend the morning picking up litter in a designated area of either Kyle or Lee Canyon. Friends of Nevada Wilderness will host the volunteers working at the Sawmill trailhead. Around noon all the volunteer groups will reconvene for a BBQ lunch and entertainment.
Please bring long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes, a water bottle, a camera, and a healthy appetite. We will provide trash bags, trash pickers, gloves, hard hats, and additional water and snacks. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. More information will be provided as the event gets closer.
Hope to see you there!
