Spring Monitoring Training 2014

YOU can be a citizen scientist and help gather data on the health of springs and the life they support! Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness and Friends of Black Rock-High Rock in this 1 day training to learn how to monitor springs.  Once you have gone through the training, you can join us on one of our field excursions, or venture out on your own to collect data.  The data you collect will help the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service gather information to make informed management decisions about these fragile and important sources of life. Contact Jake at [email protected] or call the office at 775-324-7667 for more information.
