Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness in southern Nevada for the training needed to participate in our Spring Monitoring Program. This program provides an outstanding opportunity for citizen science - hike at your own pace and on your own time, explore new places, and collect important data on the springs in the Mt. Charleston Area!
We will meet at 8:30 A.M. and start off with some classroom time then transition into the field! We will be monitoring at Willow Springs in Red Rock Canyon NCA, which will involve a 1 mile hike and lots of sun. Please bring a water bottle, lunch for yourself, sunscreen, and dress so that you'll be comfortable in the weather.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact Minas Mkhitarian via phone: 702-469-5963 or email: [email protected].
