Join the Springs Team on August 8th for a fun day of scenic spring surveying! We'll ride the scenic lift up the slopes for some fantastic views of the valley and access to a few springs. If you're looking to practice measuring flow and water quality in a group, meet new volunteers, escape the heat, and take in great views this is the trip for you! The event is open to anyone who has watched the springs training video (email us to get the recording if you haven't watched yet!). Space is limited so RSVP soon!

When: August 8th, from 10am to 4pm at the latest

Where: We'll meet at the Lee Canyon Ski area, about an hour drive outside of the city. 

What: We'll take the scenic lift up the Lee Canyon ski slopes and hike another half mile up the slopes (gaining ~600 ft) to several springs that we will survey as a group. Although short, the hike will be challenging due to the steep terrain and high elevation. Then we'll return downslope and enjoy snacks and cold beverages.

What we'll bring: We'll have all the surveying equipment necessary, and snacks and drinks (including extra water).

What you need: You'll want comfortable clothing and shoes for hiking, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), at least 2 liters of water, a daypack for hiking, and snacks/lunch.
