Volunteers will be joining Friends of Nevada Wilderness to remove old fence from the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountain Range. The main event is August 24th. However volunteers who would like, can camp with us on Friday and Saturday nights. Volunteers leaving from Reno will meeting at the Sparks office at 2:15 pm on Friday the 23rd. We will then drive to Paradise Valley and camp near there. Saturday we will head up to the work site where we will be removing old fence that is in disrepair, is dangerous to wildlife and hinders wildlife migration. Saturday night Friends of Nevada Wilderness will prepare dinner for volunteers who are interested and will camp again that night.  Contact Renee at [email protected] or call the office at 775-997-3825 for more information.
