Thistle make you laugh.
It's time again for the Santa Rosa Bull Thistle Extravaganza! Join us in Falls Canyon on the western slopes of the Santa-Rosa Paradise-Peak Wilderness. We will be hiking up the canyon and removing the invasive Bull Thistle as we go. How far we hike will depend on the number of Thistle we find, however, I would estimate we'll hike around 6 miles total. There will be food provided by FNW, fun and laughter, beautiful scenery, and meaningful work. So what are you waiting for? RSVP today!
The campsite is at the trailhead and can be reached without 4-wheel drive but higher clearance is necessary. We will provide breakfast Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Saturday evening, water, and we can loan you any camping gear you may need. Feel free to contact Chris Cutshaw, Stewardship Coordinator, at [email protected] with any questions or additional details.
