Calling all Conservationists!

You have a say in how Public Land around Las Vegas will be managed.  The Las Vegas and Pahrump Bureau of Land Management Field Offices have redrafted their Resource Management Plan.  The public comment period is open until February 6, 2015.  Friends of Nevada Wilderness is asking for you to speak up for public lands by submitting a comment in support of Lands with Wilderness Characteristics.  

Join us for a Letter Writing Workshop at the end of this month.  We'll talk about the draft RMP, share thoughts and write letters over snacks and refreshments.  Help us urge the BLM to protect our wild backyard!

Public lands are administered for the public. If you do not let your voice be heard during this comment period, then you are not participating in one of the most important democratic processes for making decisions about public lands.
