Rawe Peak is the high point at the north end of the Pine Nut Mountains and overlooks the Carson River east of Dayton and the Walker River in the Mason Valley around Yerington. Some people think that this area would be a good candidate for Wilderness designation. Come learn about what Friends of Nevada Wilderness is doing to make that happen. The hike will be about 5-6 mi RT and 1500' of elevation gain.
