Michael Branch, local Nevada writer, humorist and environmentalist unveils his newest book “Raising Wild: Dispatches from a Home in the Wilderness,” creative nonfiction reflecting on raising children in an extreme desert landscape.

Friends of Nevada Wilderness will be at the event with a table and more information on how to get involved, support wilderness issues in Nevada, and join as a member. Michael Branch will also give a short summation of Friends' work at the beginning of his talk.
