Join Friends at the Desert National Wildlife Refuge as we work with Refuge staff to plant native plants around Corn Creek. The Refuge has undergone many changes recently and intends to keep up the momentum. On April 19th, we will celebrate Earth Day with volunteers by planting native Creosote bushes at Corn Creek. We will provide plants, tools, gloves, hard hats, drinking water, and additional snacks.
This is an event for all ages! Bring children 5 years and older to learn about native plants. After the event you're welcome to wander through the newly constructed Visitor Center to learn more about the protected species on the Desert Refuge.
