The high point of the Fox Range situated just north of Pyramid Lake provides views of Pyramid and both Smoke Creek and Black Rock Deserts. Join the Sierra Club Great Basin Group for hiking in a BLM designated Wilderness Study Area (WSA). We'll discuss its current status, as well as the prospects for Wilderness designation. The hike will be about 6 mi RT and over 2600' of elevation gain. Note: Significant snow accumulation and/or weather could modify our Plans.
