National Public Lands Day 2019

Celebrate your Public Lands!

Mark your calendars for this year's National Public Lands Day at Soldier Meadows!

Projects will include habitat protection for the endemic Desert Dace, campground and cabin clean-up, hot spring clean-ups, and more!

As usual, Saturday evening we will be holding the annual Black Rock Desert-High Rock Canyon-Emigrant Trails-National Conservation Area-National Public Lands Day Dutch Oven Cook-Off. Bring your best dutch oven dish to enter this prestigious competition, or just bring something tasty to add to the Saturday night pot-luck. Breakfast will be provided Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Additionally, Nevada Outdoor School (NOS) is planning to hold a kids camp during the day Saturday while the parents volunteer. Email us for more info.
