Join us for a day of trailwork in Muddy Mountains Wilderness! We'll improve the Arch Trail, which leads hikers over a knobby red rock ridgeline and down into Hidden Valley, ultimately reaching a large sandstone arch. Hidden Valley is one of the gems of the Mojave and a wonderful place to take in the grandeur of wilderness. We'll work within a mile of the trailhead to improve the safety and sustainability of Arch Trail.
What You'll Need: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a longsleeve shirt. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, lunch, and snacks for yourself.
The backcountry roads require a 4x4/high clearance vehicle to get to the project site. We'll meet in town in the morning and carpool to the project.
Join us to experience an incredible place and give back!
