Come join us on South Loop Trail for our last trailwork project of the summer! South Loop was inundated by water from this summer's monsoonal rains and needs some love. We'll spend the day using our muscles to improve parts of South Loop that have been affected by erosion, making it safe and sustainable for years to come.
Level: Strenuous. This project involves a hike of up to 4 miles (round-trip) while carrying a tool, food, and water for yourself. South Loop is a steep trail and we'll be at an elevation of 7700 - 9000 ft.
What You'll Need: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. A water reservoir or multiple water bottles. (We'll have plenty of water for refills.) Sunscreen, lunches, and snacks for yourself.
