With Spring underway, what better way to enjoy the warm weather than hiking? Join us as we work on removing invasive weeds from the Mt. Rose Wilderness. Using shovels, we can effectively reduce the population of Musk Thistle. Invasive weeds have many impacts on the native environment. From out-competing for resources to reducing water quality. The work is extremely rewarding and you get to experience some truly amazing country, all in our backyard Wilderness.
