With summer just around the corner, join us for a day of hiking on and off trail throughout the north portion of Mt. Rose Wilderness. We will be on the lookout for invasive weeds, from Medusa Head to Musk Thistle, and beyond. In addition, we will be removing Musk thistle from a few locations.

Come get a more intimate field experience and learn more about invasive weeds and why they are a problem.

This will be strenuous hike with plenty of great views! 

We plan to start early in the morning to beat the heat. Our exact location has yet to be determined but we can assure you, it will be awesome!
