Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness to celebrate this National Day of Service on Monday, January 20, 2020 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Spend the day giving back and joining thousands of volunteers across the country with a great start to the New Year!
We will be installing a vehicle barrier deep in the heart of South McCullough Wilderness in southern Clark County, near Jean, NV. This barrier will help protect sensitive desert habitat from illegal vehicle incursions as well as help guide hikers and recreationists to appropriate, designated trails and routes by making it clear that the road has ended!
We will depart The M Resort at 8:00am and return no later than 4:00pm. For directions to The M Resort, click here!
I have an extremely limited number of seats in our vehicle - availability is first-come-first-serve and not guaranteed! Â Please let me know if you would like a seat in Friends' truck when you RSVP!Â
What You'll Need:  Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long pants.  Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, lunch, and snacks for yourself. A high-clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle if you plan on driving yourself!
