Mary Jane Falls Llama-Assisted Graffiti Removal

Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness, the US Forest Service, and some pack lamas to help us free Mary Jane Falls of vandalism!

We'll meet at 8:00 at the Mary Jane Falls Trailhead and hike up to remove graffiti along the trail and near the falls.

Mary Jane Falls is a 3.2 mile strenuous and steep hike.  The trail is beautiful but has seen better days, help us to help Mary Jane Falls shine!  Graffiti on rocks, logs, and even living trees has become endemic on this popular route, and one of the best ways to prevent future graffiti is to aggressively remove existing graffiti.

Our partners at the US Forest Service have identified this site as a priority for restoration, and we are excited to take the first steps in getting Mary Jane de-graffitied!  You'll also have a chance to meet some professional pack llamas, see amazing wildlife, and enjoy the views from the top of Mary Jane Falls trails.

We'll be back to our vehicles at the trailhead by 2pm to beat the heat!
