Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness for some wilderness restoration in Lovell Canyon! This is a follow up to the 10/25 restoration project, as we restore the last of the two routes. This illegal motorized access route compromising the wilderness characteristics of Rainbow Mountain Wilderness and also leads to Mountain Springs where vehicles are damaging sensitive spring habitats that are refuge to wildlife. Join us as we spend the morning naturalizing and restoring this critical entry way using good ol' fashioned hand tools like shovels and pick-mattocks!
What You'll Need
• Please bring a water bottle for yourself. We'll have plenty of water for refills.
• Sturdy closed toed shoes
• long pants & long sleeved shirt
• Snacks/Lunch for yourself
