On Thursday July 30th, KEEN will be stopping in Las Vegas as part of their Live Monumental tour, a campaign showcasing some of the exceptional places where we play that deserve protection. Gold Butte is one of five places featured in this campaign, which will be touring across the USA this summer. Live Monumental aims to gather 100,000 signatures to show the massive support from around the country for protecting these special places.
Local activists like you have been advocating for protection of Gold Butte for over ten years. At the end of the day, Gold Butte deserves permanent protection, and designation options that achieve this – including a National Monument – should be on the table. We applaud KEEN’s efforts and urge you to turn out for the celebration and other KEEN events all summer!
