Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness for a day in Ireteba Peaks Wilderness! We're going to restore an unauthorized motor vehicle route that leads into wilderness. This will involve installing a post barrier and restoring behind it using vertical and horizontal mulch techniques. We will then travel to a nearby area to do a little trash cleanup!
If you've never been to this wilderness area, you are in for a real treat :). Out there, you get a real sense of the diversity of wilderness areas in Southern Nevada.
What you will need:
- Time: we will meet at 7:30 am and return at 3:30 pm
- Water bottle: we will have plenty of water for your free refills :)
- Warmth: please bring a warm sweater and jacket
- Long sleeve pants and shirt
- Sturdy closed toed shoes
