We are working with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) to help remove noxious weeds from the area around the Michael D. Thompson trailhead. KTMB is running this event, but Renee will be on hand to help guide and educate volunteers and promote volunteer opportunities further up the trail in the wilderness that Friends of Nevada Wilderness will be hosting in June. Come out and remove weeds from the trailhead and in turn help keep the weeds out of the Mount Rose Wilderness area. Find more information at http://ktmb.org.
