Grapevine Canyon Restoration with UNLVolunteers! **PRIVATE**

We're teaming up with UNLVolunteers to restore the web of trails has been proliferating throughout Grapevine Canyon, which are causing erosion and leading hikers along unsafe paths.  Our work is critical to protecting the area and maintaining access for visitors... all while helping preserve America's past!

Grapevine Canyon is nestled in the granite mountains of Bridge Canyon Wilderness and is home to one of the more significant petroglyph sites in all of Nevada.  A fresh water spring flows out of the canyon floor in non-drought year, providing life-giving water to a variety of animals and plants, including native Canyon Grape vines that are the namesake of the area.

This is a private event.  Friends of Nevada Wilderness coordinates private volunteer opportunities for businesses and other organizations.  It's a great way to give back to the community and increase the community and camaraderie of your team.  If you'd like to coordinate a similar event for your group, contact us at (702) 515-5417.
