Hike the Stillwater Range

Join us and the Sierra Club for a day of exploring the Stillwater Range! Eleven Mile Canyon winds its way up into the southern end of the Stillwater Range. There are several peaks in the area including Slaughter Peaks, Table Mtn, Shaly Peak and Mt Lincoln. We will attempt to summit one or more of them while learning about the current proposal from the Fallon Navy Air Station to seize portions of the Stillwater Range from the public domain. Be prepared for 6-10 mi RT and 2000-3000' of elevation gain. Please contact leader for further details.

Cost: $1 optional donation for Group Leader training

Signup Instructions: Call or e-mail leader for meeting location details.

Bring: Boots, poles, water, food and whatever else you would normally take for a day of hiking in the mountains.

Signup Restrictions: No dogs

Carpool: Car pooling is recommended. High clearance 4WD will be needed to get to the trailhead.
