Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness, the Surprise Valley BLM, the Nevada Department of Wildlife and other partners for a fun and possibly silly weekend of planting bitterbrush and sagebrush to help rehabilitate the areas affected by the 2014 Coleman Fire. Bitterbrush is important winter forage for pronghorn and mule deer, planting bitterbrush will help restore this important habitat. Please contact Renee at renee@nevadawilderness or call the office if you have any questions.
This project is dependent on our partners, availability of seedlings and weather. It is subject to change and cancellation.
