Spend your day helping beautify and protect Brownstone Basin! Located in La Madre Mountain Wilderness and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Brownstone Basin is one of Nevada's most spectacular areas. The basin is rich in Native American history and home to the threatened desert tortoise and bighorn sheep. We'll spend the day protecting Brownstone Basin in two ways: repairing and extending a vehicle barrier and installing an information kiosk. We'll also take a short hike to see nearby pictographs.
What You'll Need: Sturdy, close-toed shoes and long pants. A water bottle. Lunch and snacks for yourself.
