Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness as we re-naturalize an illegal motorized incursion in Pinto Valley Wilderness!  Pinto Valley's rugged hills and red sandstone outcroppings merge with the greens, grays, browns, and yellows of the desert floor.  We'll travel to Boathouse Cove Rd, on the Northshore of Lake Mead and spend 3 hours restoring the routes using vertical mulching techniques.  Use your muscles to improve habitat for rare species such as the Las Vegas bear poppy and desert tortoise!

What You'll Need:  Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt.  Bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a lunch for yourself.

This project is being held in conjunction with MGM Resorts Impact Week.  Impact Week is part of MGM's efforts to positively impact the communities where they live, work, and raise their children. The week concludes with Make a Difference Day, a nationally recognized day devoted to highlighting volunteers and their impact in the community.
