Friends of Nevada Wilderness annually awards people who've volunteered 30+ hours in a year with a blue helmet.  It's our way of saying thank you, and a bit of a status symbol at stewardship projects.

We're inviting some of our strongest partners and dedicated blue helmet volunteers to join us for a day of paddling down the Colorado River!  We'll start at the Hoover Dam and paddle down to Willow Beach.  Along the way, we'll be stopping in Black Canyon Wilderness to improve the health of natural springs.  It's another way for us to say thank you to folks who always go the extra mile!
