We need your help to protect the primitive nature of Big Rocks Wilderness!  This rugged area just outside of Caliente, NV is a jumble of boulders where elk roam gently climbing slopes.  We'll spend the day installing barriers to prevent vehicles from driving into Wilderness (where vehicles are prohibited) from adjacent areas where motorized use is allowed and encouraged.  The barriers will help protect the habitat for creatures that live there and protect the area for visitors seeking a more natural outdoor experience.  

What You'll Need: Wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeve shirt.  Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and lunch for yourself.
