Arrow Canyon Trail head

Friends of Nevada Wilderness is partnering with the BLM and the Sierra Club to complete a project in Arrow Canyon.

The Sierra Club is bringing volunteers to Southern Nevada.  We are combining efforts in Arrow Canyon Wilderness.  Volunteers will  install wooden posts near the trail head to Arrow Canyon to establish a clear parking area.  This barrier will provide ease of access for visitors and protect the surrounding area.  Volunteers will also naturalize old road scars to heal the area and prevent illegal use.

If you are interested in joining the Sierra Club volunteers they will camp at the site the night before and would enjoy your company.  If you've never visited Arrow Canyon, this is a great opportunity.  After the event you can enjoy a quick hike up the picturesque canyon to a historic dam.

We will provide the tools, gloves, hard hats, posts, extra water, and additional snacks.
