A big round of applause and thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the first anniversary of Massacre Rim WSA’s designation as an International Dark Sky Sanctuary. It is important to celebrate victories, and we are grateful for everyone who helped make this one a reality!

Many of you shared our starry sky photos and educational content on your social media channels and helped us spread the fun. It was wonderful connecting with all of you about the importance of keeping our public lands wild (and free from light pollution). Last year, on March 18, 2019, Massacre Rim WSA became the 7th International Dark Sky Sanctuary in the world! Even in these uncertain times, our supporters came together and gave $1,724 in donations. From the bottom of our hearts, we are truly grateful. We can’t thank you enough for your continued support and consideration for your public lands and intact habitats.
