Join us in the beautiful Mountain Springs Area of Rainbow Mountain Wilderness for some wilderness restoration! We will naturalize an old road bed that is no longer used to prevent confusion and incursion into Rainbow Mountain Wilderness. The work site sees very few visitors even though it is very close to the town of Mountain Springs, located off of Hwy 160. Volunteers will spend the morning learning effective restoration techniques through hands on practice. Protecting Wilderness character with friends and other like-minded community members is a wonderful way to celebrate National Public Lands Day!
