Water! In the desert?
Join Friends for our March Wild Speaker Series: "Springs in Southern Nevada" on Thursday, March 6th at 6PM!
Presented by our Stewardship Coordinator and springs specialist, Tyler Morris.
Springs ecosystems are some of the most special resources within the Mojave Desert. Supporting a wide array of plant and animal species, springs are not just important; they are key to having a functional ecosystem in both arid climates and many other places throughout the world. We will be discussing what springs are, the role they play in the environment, and the ongoing efforts being done to steward these precious resources and how you can get involved!
We will wrap up the evening with a Q&A to answer all your questions! This will be an informative chat for the whole family!
This talk will be on March 6th, 2025 at 6PM. Please RSVP below if you would like to attend.
