Area Description

This wilderness would protect about 6,000 acres of pristine desert tortoise habitat and natural scenery contiguous with the Million Hills Wilderness Study Area.  This low-rolling terrain provides spectacular opportunities for uninterrupted views of the best features of the Gold Butte Landscape and amazing vistas down into the Nevada portion of the Grand Canyon.
