Keep our Volunteer Projects Going

Thank you for signing up to volunteer to give back to wild Nevada. That makes you part of something bigger: a statewide network of people who show up, again and again, to pull weeds, maintain trails, and care for the places they love.

Volunteers have been a part of Friends of Nevada Wilderness for decades. Since the beginning, we have worked hard to create meaningful ways for people to get involved at no cost to the volunteer. Recent changes at the federal level have made it more difficult than ever to fund these important projects. If you have had a great experience volunteering and want to help keep the program running, please consider donating to support it. 

Here's what makes our volunteer program possible: tools, transportation to remote sites, safety gear, food and water, and the staff time it takes to plan a project that gets things done. A donation today helps cover the cost of the volunteer program you're already part of, so the next person who wants to show up can do it just like you.

What your donation could cover:

$10, 25 & $50 → Your contribution could go towards tool maintenance and replacement, project supplies, and transportation costs.

$100 & $250 → Your gift may help provide dinners and dessert for our volunteers after long days of hands-on conservation work. It may also support the replacement of broken tools, an ongoing cost in our line of work! 

$500 → Your support could cover gear, transportation, and the delicious meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) that FNW provides for a weekend volunteer project.

$1,000 → Your contribution may include support for a single-day volunteer project, including the skilled staff who lead the work on the ground.

$2,000 → Your generosity could sponsor an entire large-scale, weekend-long volunteer project, including planning and field time for our professional staff.
