Springs Monitoring Virtual Volunteer Training

sprngs_webinar_02.png

We have 500 springs on public lands in southern Nevada to survey, and we need your help to do it! Although we may not be able to gather in groups at this time, you can still get involved with a safe, contact-free volunteer opportunity as a spring monitor. This two-hour virtual volunteer training will give you the skills to get outside whenever and wherever you want, and collect invaluable data to protect our springs while you're at it! We will cover some background about springs, the types of data we collect, and how to stay safe while you're out surveying.

This training is required for all spring monitoring volunteers before going into the field! Register today. The webinar will be available live and on-demand for all registrants. If the webinar is full and you are unable to register, we will share a recording afterwards. Looking forward to seeing you all on January 6th, future southern Nevada volunteer spring monitors!

If you haven't filled out our volunteer interest form, you can do so here.
